The EP Sessions: Day Three

This time: SO much fun! Mostly because I spent the time lounging on the couch in the control room while other people did all the work, chiming in occasionally when asked whether I liked something or not. But seriously. Jason laid down some very tasty guitar and bass on "The Stars" and "The Thing Is," and I did some additional vocals. For the first time I started to get that feeling, listening to the songs: "hey...these tunes sound like they're on a record!"

I'm excited. To watch something grow from a little idea you came up with, sitting with your guitar on the livingroom rug, into a crafted, polished artistic work... Well, if I was wondering at moments last week why the hell people go through with endeavours like this...now I remember.

Next stop: cello and more drums on Thursday night. Woo!
