Hey, want to hear me play a newish song on the radio? Also present and jammin' in the name of the lord are Alexandra Krakus, Mark Berube and Mike Liston, all of whom can be found in my top friends on MySpace. Hear here: http://chrwradio.com/podcasts/94-9CHRWThu1730.mp3 Many thanks to Sookie Mei, host of the show, and to Alex for setting it up! Love, K. |
Are you on Facebook? Add me via iLike!
Are you on Facebook? Of course you are! Why don't you add the iLike application (if you haven't already) and then post one of my tunes to your profile as a favourite--or maybe dedicate one to a pal! Or, considering how sad and bitter a lot of my songs are, dedicate it to an ex!

FACTOR news!
Woohoo! High fives to all! I won a FACTOR grant! This means I can safely say I'll be recording that CD I keep talking about. Producer and engineer are notified and on board--I'll start as soon as I get myself back from the lovely West Coast. Get ready, world!
Love,
K.
Singin' in the studio, and a record you should know about
Tonight I'm heading down to Willyboy Recordings to lay down some primo oohs and ahhs, singing backup on Jason Hakin's forthcoming album (the lovely Alex Krakus will be joining me). For those of you who don't know him, Jason's a very fine singer-songwriter and instrumentalist from around these parts, and from what I've heard of his record so far, it's gonna be something. It's been a solid year in the works, lovingly planned and executed by Jason and Will Haas, engineer and musical consultant extraodinaire. Think McCartney, Radiohead, Coldplay--all that delish Brit pop with its aurally addictive qualities. Check out Jason's website and MySpace:
...and buy the record when it's out this fall. You won't regret it.
